Stock car report Monday 27th August

Monday evenings stock car meeting got underway with #1 Harry Watson battling his way to the front of the race on lap 6 after #25 Pemma Nissanka had led from lap one, Pemma took second with #324 Jack Dobson third and #27 Josh Watson fourth. Harry took control of race two from lap three to take his second victory of the evening again followed by Pemma, Jack and Josh. Josh took the early lead in race three before being passed by brother Harry moments before the race was brought to a stop after Jack and Pemma collided on the back straight, Harry again won from Josh and Pemma. Harry completed the evening with a fourth win followed by Josh, Pemma and Jack.
The Onchan Raceway trophies were awarded to :- 1st Harry , 2nd Pemma and 3rd Josh .
Swift Motors Production Rods
The Production Rods were next out on track with the opening round of their Dagger of Honour championship. #28 India Cowin made a great start in race one leading the race until the lap boards were shown when #931 Brandon Parker came through to take the victory from India, #205 Rebecca Hands, #22 Nick Ford and #537 Tina Quayle. India Cowin took control of race two only being passed with the two laps to go board being shown, Brandon Parker took the flag followed by India Cowin, Nick Ford, Rebecca , and Tina. India Cowin looked set to claim the victory in race three until Brandon Parker managed to slip through on the last lap snatching the victory ahead of India , Rebecca Hands, #29 Lauren Miller and Tina Quayle. Brandon Parker made it four from four in the final race followed over the line by India Cowin, Lauren Miller, Rebecca and Tina.
The Onchan Raceway trophies were awarded to:- 1st Brandon Parker, 2nd India Cowin and 3rd Rebecca Hands with India Cowin taking the Victory Lane ladies award.
A&J Quality Butchers Bangers
The Bangers were last out on track contesting the first of three rounds of their Sword of State championship. Lap one of race one saw the race halted to remove the stricken car of #2 Morgan Cormode after he collided with the fence. #24 Lee Jordan won the race from #188 Ashley Harrison, #18 Grant Crellin, #71 Steven Guest and #667 Nick Collister. Lee Jordan took an early lead in race two to take his second victory ahead of Ashley Harrison and Nick Collister. Nick Collister led from start to finish in race three to take the flag from Lee Jordan and Ashley Harrison. In the final race of the night Lee Jordan took the lead on race two to take the flag ahead of Ashley Harrison, Grant Crellin and Nick Collister.
The Onchan Raceway trophies were awarded to :- 1st Lee Jordan, 2nd Ashley Harrison and 3rd Nick Collister.
Racing resumes with the penultimate round of the season on Monday 3rd September at 7pm with the end of season demolition derby at 2pm on Sunday 9th September.
