WINDOW WIZARD MINISTOX
Racing resumed Monday evening for the Onchan Raceway trophies. The Ministox were first, Ben Kelly led the opening laps before Jordan Halligan-Bunce made his way to the front to claim the victory in race one from Josh Watson, Jack Dobson, Pemma Nissanka, Harry Watson, Ben Kelly and Jake Hooper. Race two saw Kelly, Nissanka, J. Watson and Halligan-Bunce all take the lead with Halligan-Bunce claiming his second victory ahead of J. Watson, Dobson, H. Watson, Nissanka, Kelly and Hooper. Halligan-Bunce had to pull out of race three after suffering mechanical issues, Dobson emerged the race winner after a close from J. Watson, Nissanka, H. Watson, Kelly and Hooper. The Onchan Raceway trophies were awarded to Josh Watson, Jack Dobson and Jordan Halligan-Bunce with Ben Kelly claiming the award for top white and yellow top driver.
SWIFT MOTORS PRODUCTION RODS
The Production Rods were next contesting their Gold Cup to be held over the three meetings and from a clutch start. Brandon Parker took the early lead before race winner Colin Clague took control on lap five taking the chequered flag from Nick Ford, lauren Miller, Tina Quayle, Darren Hudgeon and Parker. Clague again took the honours in race two ahead of Ford, Parker, Miller, Quayle and Kyle Palmer. Race three had to be restarted after Clague crashed on lap two, Parker claimed the victory in the restarted race from Ford, Quayle, India Cowin, Miller and Palmer. The Onchan Raceway trophies were awarded to Nick Ford, Colin Clague and Brandon Parker with Tina Quayle taking the victory lane ladies award.
MANN CONSTRUCTION FORMULA 2’S
The Formula 2’s, race one had to be red flagged after new comer Matthew Cox spun on lap four hitting the safety fence and his car ending up wedged on the fence. Dougie Kinrade won the restarted race from Kevin Hooper and Robert Hooper. Kinrade also won race two after taking the lead at half race distance ahead of K. Hooper and R. Hooper. With Kinrade and K. Hooper out in race three they went for a 5 lap dash from a clutch start with lots of bumper action and changing places, Kinrade won from Hooper. The Onchan Raceway trophies were awarded to Dougie Kinrade, Kevin Hooper and Robert Hooper.
A&J QUALITY BUTCHERS BANGERS
The Bangers were last on the track with Lee Jordan making his way to the front on lap four and taking the victory in race one ahead of Ste Collister and Nick Collister. Jordan won race two ahead Chris Crellin and N. Collister. Jordan looked set to make it a hatrick of wins until he collided with an infield marker tyre, C. Crellin came through to take the chequered flag from Jordan and Grant Crellin. The Onchan Raceway trophies were awarded to Lee Jordan, Chris Crellin and Nick Collister.
