Stock car report Monday 3rd September

Spectators saw close competitive racing in each of the classes at Monday evenings Barbary Coast sponsored event.
WINDOW WIZARD MINISTOX.
#777 Jake Hooper led the opening laps of Ministox race 1 until he was passed by the more experienced drivers, #25 Pemma Nissanka winning from #324 Jack Dobson, #27 Josh Watson, #1 Harry Watson, Jake finished 5th. Pemma Nissanka claimed victory in races 2 and 4 with Jack Dobson winning race 3. Brothers Josh and Harry Watson had a brief coming together in race 3 which side-lined Harry for the rest of the meeting.
The Barbary Coast trophies were awarded to :-1st Pemma Nissanka, 2nd Josh Watson, 3rd Jack Dobson. Jake Hooper was awarded the Whites and Yellows trophy.
MANN CONSTRUCTION FORMULA 2s
In preparation for representing Onchan Raceway in this years Formula 2 World Final which will be held at Bristol this weekend, #164 Dougie Kinrade checked the set-up of his car in 2 demonstration runs.
The Mann Construction 2018 Points Championship trophies were also presented to :- 1st Dougie Kinrade, 2nd Kevin Hooper, 3rd Robert Hooper.

#23 Jemma Moore struggled but persisted all evening driving a bent and twisted Ford Mondeo, leading the opening laps of each race. #8 Ste. Collister took the lead on lap, 3 but was passed by #24 Lee Jordan who took the win. Ste. Collister passed Jemma Moore mid race in race 2 to take the victory followed by #188 Ashley Harrison and #667 Nick Collister. Ashley Harrison took a convincing win in race 3 followed by Ste. Collister and Lee Jordan. Lee passed Ashley as the lap boards were shown to win race 4.
The Barbary Coast Trophies were presented to :- 1st Ashley Harrison, 2nd Ste. Collister, 3rd Lee Jordan.
SWIFT MOTORS PRODUCTION RODS.
#931 Brandon Parker had another good evenings racing at the Raceway claiming 4 straight wins, but the other competitors made him work hard in each race. #195 Ed. Doughtwaite and #28 India Cowin were Brandon’s main opposition once he had overtaken the other drivers en-route to the chequered flag. Racing between the other drivers was very close as they all battled for position.
The Barbary Coast sponsored trophies were awarded to :- 1st Brandon Parker, 2nd Ed. Doughtwaite, 3rd India Cowin. India was also awarded the Victory Lane Ladies trophy.
The 2018 Stock car season ends this Sunday 9th September with the traditional End of Season DEMOLITION DERBY with a cash prize awarded to the last car mobile. Action starts at 2pm.
