Racing for the KG Services trophies took place on Monday at Onchan Raceway with Harry Watson #17 getting proceedings underway taking 1st in the whites and yellows race with Josh Watson #27 2nd and Pemma Nissanka #25 in 3rd. Newcomer Kian Kelly took 4th place improving as the night went on.







The remaining 3 mini races saw all grades out on track and plenty of close, fast racing. Josh Watson took the early lead only to be passed by brother Harry once the lap boards were shown, Ted Davis #51 took 3rd from #400 Connor Bridson, #324 Jack Dobson and #204 Kian Kelly. Race 3 saw Connor hit the fence while battling with Ted Davis for 2nd place, Harry took 1st with Jack 2nd and Pemma in 3rd. Harry won race 4 with Ted 2nd and Jack 3rd. The KG services trophies were awarded to Harry Watson, Jack Dobson and Josh Watson.





Formula 2s, Dave Sutcliffe #503 took 3 race wins from Dougie Kinrade #164, with 3rd place going to Kevin Hooper #7 in races 1 and 3 and Paul Fearne #545 in race 2. Mikey Booth #11 raced well in all 3 races taking the early lead and showing great improvement, the KG services trophies went to Dave Sutcliffe, Dougie Kinrade and Kevin Hooper.







A field of 9 bangers started race 1 providing plenty of action, newcomer Max Turner #91 took race wins in race 1 and 2 followed by Dan Moore #66 and Ashley Harrison #188, Max Turner again led race 3 until a collision left him in the fence with 2 laps to go, Moore went on to win from Harrison and Jason Colister #26. The KG services trophies were awarded to Dan Moore, Ashley Harrison and Max Turner.






The production rods provided some close, fast racing with Marie Craine #19 leading race 1 until Robert Hooper #77 passed her with 2 laps to go, Hooper won with Marie 2nd and Davey Craine #90 in 3rd. Race 2 saw Davey Craine take first with Robert Hooper 2nd and Leonie Ward 3rd. Race 3 was again won by Davey Craine with Robert Hooper 2nd and Sarah Wass #59 in 3rd, Tina Quayle lapped well in each race with all 4 ladies providing some great racing. The points were close at the end of the evening with overall positions going on the last race positions, Davey Craine and Robert Hooper both ended the evening with 16 points and Sarah Wass, Leonie Ward and Marie Craine tied on 7 points the KG services trophies went to Craine, Robert Hooper and Sarah Wass who also received the Victory Lane ladies award trophy.

Racing resumes next Monday, 15th May at 7:30pm.
