Monday evening’s stock car racing sponsored by Chemical Services Manx ltd saw a great crowd in ready to be entertained.
#800 Macauley Teare got proceedings underway winning the white and yellow roof drivers race ahead of #118 Harry Merryweather, #113 Sorcha Wade suffered mechanical issues ending her race early.
Onto the Window Wizard Junior Rod’s and it was #825 Cian Peers who clinched the honours in race one ahead of #58 Rio Osborne, #26 Shannon Moore, #33 Shane Ellison, #119 TJ Teare and Harry Merryweather.
Race two saw Rio Osborne take the honours closely followed by Cian Peers, TJ Teare, Shane Ellison, Shannon Moore, Sorcha Wade and Harry Merryweather.
Rio Osborne again made a great start in race three to take a clear flag to flag victory with Shannon Moore second holding off Cian Peers, TJ Teare, Shane Ellison and Harry Merryweather.
The final race of the evening saw another great battle for the lead with Shannon Moore holding on to take the flag ahead of Cian Peers, TJ Teare. Rio Osborne, Shane Ellison, Harry Merryweather and Sorcha Wade.
The Chemical Services trophies were awarded to :- 1st Cian Peers, 2nd Rio Osborne and 3rd Shannon Moore. Macauley Teare was awarded the white and yellow roof drivers trophy.
The Mike’s Motors Production Rod’s saw some fantastic racing between #46 Steve Luton and #358 Mark Hargreaves with Steve taking the honours in race one as he inched just ahead of Mark, #240 Lewis Keightley took third ahead of #88 Callum Tilley and #34 Jamie Dale. #538 Ian Kneale and #337 Lee Merryweather both suffered mechanical issues.
Race two saw another race long battle between Steve Luton and Mark Hargreaves, this time Mark clinched the victory with Steve second ahead of Jamie Dale and Callum Tilley, Lewis Keightley suffered damage after hitting the fence and had to retire early.
Race three saw Steve Luton make his move on the last lap taking his second victory of the night from Mark Hargreaves, Jamie Dale and Callum Tilley.
The final chequered flag of the evening again went to Steve Luton from Mark Hargreaves, Jamie Dale, Lee Merryweather and Callum Tilley.
The Chemical Services trophies were awarded to :- 1st Steve Luton, 2nd Mark Hargreaves and 3rd Jamie Dale.
The A&J Butchers Bangers were last out to entertain the crowd with #666 Nick Collister crossing the line first followed by #980 James Exon, #728 Tom Westbrook and #179 Jordan Halligan-Bunce.
Race two saw #23 Jemma Moore lead until the closing stages when Tom Westbrook spun her to take the lead ending his race due to damage, Jordan Halligan-Bunce made his way to the front claiming the honours ahead of Jamie Exon, Nick Collister and Jemma Moore.
Race three saw Nick Collister cross the line ahead of Jordan Halligan-Bunce but it was Jordan Halligan-Bunce who was awarded the honours due to the spin to win format Nick Collister was awarded second ahead of, Jemma Moore and Jamie Exon.
The final banger race of the evening saw Jamie Exon cross the line first followed by Jordan Halliday-Bunce, Jemma Moore and Nick Collister.
The Chemical Services trophies were awarded to :- 1st Jordan Halligan-Bunce, 2nd James Exon and 3rd Nick Collister.
