Monday evening saw racing return to the Nivison stadium Onchan, with a welcome return of the driver’s parade, where all drivers were driven around in their cars and introduced to the crowd.
The first class out was the ever improving Window Wizard Junior Rods, #825 Cian Peers started where he left off last week with another impressive victory with #26 Shannon Moore claiming second ahead of #41 Nicole Astell-Burt, #58 Rio Osbourne, #17 Elsie Horton and #10 Kian Staniford, unfortunate car trouble left #33 Shane Ellison watching from the center field after a fast start.
Race two was quickly brought to a halt on lap one after a collision on the back straight saw Shane Ellison’s car stuck on the safety fence, Nicole Astell-Burt was also involved and after colliding with the fence rolled, landing on her side and Kian Staniford collided with the rear of Rio Osbourne, All four drivers climbed from their cars to applause of the crowd. Cian Peers again took control early in the restarted race and cruised to victory ahead of Rio Osbourne who did well to recover following the collision, Elsie Horton claimed third ahead of Shannon Moore in fourth.

Completing the hat-trick Cian Peers claimed the honors in race three ahead of Shannon Moore and Rio Osbourne after Elsie Horton who had raced well throughout but unfortunately lost control and collided with the fence on the final corner.
The Onchan Raceway Karting trophies were awarded to 1 Cian Peers, 2 Shannon Moore, 3 Rio Osbourne.

The A&J Quality Butchers Bangers were next out on track, race one saw #728 Tom Westbrook take the early lead before #24 Lee Jordan pushed his way to the front on lap 6 claiming the checkered flag ahead of #18 Grant Crellin, #77 Robert Hooper, #23 Jemma Moore and Tom Westbrook.
Tom Westbrook look set to claim the honors in race two until Grant Crellin came through on the last lap to take the flag ahead of Lee Jordan, and Jemma Moore.
Race three saw Lee Jordan claim first with Grant Crellin taking second while various incidents left #179 Jordan Halligan-Bunce, Tom Westbrook, Jemma Moore and Robert Hooper sidelined.
The Onchan Raceway Karting trophies were awarded to 1 Lee Jordan, 2 Grant Crellin and 3 Jemma Moore.

The Swift Motors production rods were the final class of the evening contesting round two of their gold cup, although numbers were down this week the three drivers put on a great show of close racing throughout the evening.
Race one saw #22 Nick Ford take the early lead chased down by #10 Mike Craine and #536 Adam Quayle who took second and third respectively after a close battle throughout.
Race two saw another close battle for first place until Nick Ford managed to edge ahead and pull away to claim his second victory of the evening ahead of Mike Craine and Adam Quayle.
Race three saw Nick Ford again coming out victorious ahead of Mike Craine and Adam Quayle.
The Onchan Raceway Karting trophies were awarded to 1 Nick Ford, 2 Mike Craine, 3 Adam Quayle.

Racing resumes Monday 20thJuly where all classes will compete, Junior Rods, Bangers and Production Rods with the latter competing for the final round of their gold cup championship.
Re grading has also taken place which will mean drivers starting positions have changed taking into account points scored in the meetings completed so far this season.
Gates open 7pm with racing from 7:30pm.
