Window Wizard sponsored Monday evening’s stock car meeting held in wet conditions.
The Junior Rod’s were first out on track, competing for the Chemical Services White’s and Yellow’s championship. #119 TJ Teare repeated his winning ways from last week taking the chequered flag ahead of #111 Sam Cracknell and #118 Harry Merryweather.
Race two of the Window Wizard Junior Rod’s saw all drivers out on the track, TJ Teare again made a quick start to claim his second flag to flag victory of the evening ahead of #41 Nicole Astell-Burt, #825 Cian Peers, #58 Rio Osborne, #33 Shane Ellison and #118 Harry Merryweather, a last lap coming together left Sam Cracknell out for the evening.
TJ again showed great pace in race three to claim his third victory of the evening, Nicole held off Cian to take second, Rio claimed fourth, Shane fifth and Harry sixth.
Race four saw TJ Teare remain unchallenged taking the chequered flag, Nicole Astell-Burt again kept the chasing pack behind her taking second ahead of Cian Peers, Shane Ellison, Harry Merryweather and Rio Osborne.
The Window Wizard trophies were awarded to :- 1st TJ Teare, 2nd Nicole Astell-Burt, 3rdCian Peers.
The Mike’s Motors sponsored production rods were next out to contend the wet, greasy track.
Race one saw #88 Callum Tilley lead until a collision left him spun on a tyre, #420 Lee Freestone won the restarted race claiming the chequered flag again after over 20 years out of stock car racing, #538 Ian Kneale claimed second ahead of #357 Jamie Turnbull, #46 Steve Luton and #358 Mark Hargreaves.
Race two again saw Lee Freestone work his way to the front of the pack to claim a second victory of the evening, Ian Kneale took second with Steve Luton taking third followed by Mark Hargreaves, Callum Tilley and Jamie Turnbull.
Race three saw Callum Tilley claim a flag to flag victory ahead of Ian Kneale, Lee Freestone, Steve Luton and Jamie Turnbull. Mechanical issues saw Mark Hargreaves retire from the race.
The final race of the evening saw Ian Kneal take his maiden victory with Lee second, Callum third, Steve fourth and Mark fifth, close racing at the start saw Jamie out early on.

The A&J Quality Butchers Bangers were last out on track, #171 Ryan Edmunds held off #18 Grant Crellin to claim the victory in race one by about half a car length, #293 Jordan Brown and newcomer #240 Lewis Keightley both suffered damage early on and were left on the infield watching.
Race two saw Lewis Keightley lead the race until Ryan Edmunds spun him to take the lead, Grant Crellin quickly made his was passed and claimed the honours ahead of Ryan and Lewis.
Race three again saw Grant Crellin take the honours ahead of Ryan Edmunds with Lewis Keightley’s race ending in the fence at the half way point. Grant took the final chequered flag of the evening in race four with Ryan again taking second.
The Widow Wizard trophies were awarded to :- 1st Grant Crellin, 2ndRyan Edmunds and 3rd Lewis Keightley.
A big shout out to all staff, medic’s, driver’s and mechanic’s for enduring the wet weather, hopefully our next meeting will be dry.
