Old Lonan Church Farm Cottages (O.L.C.F.) sponsored Monday evenings stockcar meeting held in perfect conditions.
#800 Macauley Teare and #111 Sam Cracknell got proceedings underway in the Chemical Services whites and yellow’s race with Macauley taking the honours from Sam.
Race one of the Window Wizard Junior Rod’s saw #26 Shannon Moore make a quick start leading the race from flag to flag claiming the first victory of the evening, #58 Rio Osborne took second ahead of #33 Shane Ellison, #825 Cian Peers, #41 Nicole Astell-Burt, #119 TJ Teare and #111 Sam Cracknell.
Race two saw Rio Osborne make a quick start leading the race until mechanical issues stopped him on lap four Shannon Moore claimed the honours with TJ Teare second and Nicole Astell-Burt third, Rio Osborne recovered from the rear of the pack to claim fourth ahead of Shane Ellison, Cian Peers and Sam Cracknell.
Making it a hat-trick Shannon Moore went on to win race three from Shane Ellison, Cian Peers, Rio Osborne, TJ Teare, Nicole Astell-Burt and Sam Cracknell.
Race four saw another great drive from Shannon Moore to claim the final victory of the evening followed by Rio Osborne, TJ Teare, Cian Peers, Shane Ellison and Sam Cracknell.
The O.L.C.F. trophies were awarded to 1st Shannon Moore, 2nd Rio Osborne and 3rd Shane Ellison with Macauley Teare taking the white and yellow award.
The A&J Butchers Bangers were next out on track with plenty of action to entertain the crowds, #24 Lee Jordan made a winning return to claim the honours ahead of #666 Nick Collister, #23 Jemma Moore and #179 Jordan Halligan-Bunce, #171 Ryan Edmunds and #47 Mel Collister both sustained damaged leaving them watching.
Race two saw Jordan Halligan-Bunce claim the honours ahead of Lee Jordan, Jemma Moore and Nick Collister.
Race three saw Ryan Edmunds and Nick Collister left watching from the infield after plenty of first corner action pleasing the crowds, at the half way point Jemma Moore ended up collecting some tyres which lodged under her car, Lee Jordan claimed the honours from Jemma who came from behind nudging Jordan Halligan-Bunce out of the way and losing the tyres in the process, Jordan Halligan-Bunce took third.
Lee Jordan made it a hat-trick in race three followed by Jordan Halligan-Bunce and Nick Collister, Jemma Moore sustained damage and had to retire.
The O.L.C.F. trophies were awarded to 1st Lee Jordan, 2nd Jordan Halligan-Bunce and 3rd Jemma Moore.
The Mike’s Motors Production Rod’s were last out on track with more fast, close action #46 Steve Luton raced his way to the front of race one, to take the honours from #358 Mark Hargreaves, #357 Jamie Turnbull, #88 Callum Tilley and #34 Jamie Dale.
Race two saw Steve Luton take another victory ahead of Mark Hargreaves, Jamie Turnbull, Callum Tilley and Jamie Dale after another close race throughout.
Race three saw a great battle for the top spot between Mark Hargreaves and Steve Luton with Mark just hanging on to clinch the honours from Steve, Jamie Turnbull claimed third ahead of Callum Tilley and Jamie Dale.
Steve Luton returned to his winning ways in race four taking the final victory of the night closely followed by Mark Hargreaves, Jamie Turnbull, Callum Tilley and Jamie Dale.

Racing resumes at Onchan Raceway next week on Monday 26th, Thursday 29thand Saturday 31stJuly from 7:30pm and will feature visiting drivers from the UK in the Heritage Formula 2 stock cars which are original or replicas of the cars races in the 1960’s and 70’s supported by our local drivers at selected meetings.
